Jessica Rubin Grashoff is the Development Manager at the Harrington Discovery Institute. Jessica works to foster relationships with individuals, families and organizations seeking to use philanthropy to advance and accelerate treatments and cures for diseases and improve human health. She provides strategic advisement, support and reporting to a portfolio of philanthropists and partners with their professional advisors to ensure their philanthropic activities are aligned with their long-term goals.
Previously, Jessica specialized in helping individuals and families make significant impact at University Hospitals through creative gift planning often utilizing charitable gift, tax and estate planning techniques. Jessica worked closely with professional advisors and their clients to identify current and deferred charitable giving options. In addition, Jessica was responsible for identifying and implementing best practices through policies and procedures, preparing fund agreements and charitable gift documents and serving as a liaison with legal, finance and compliance teams.
Jessica graduated from Binghamton University and earned a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While originally from New York, Jessica is actively involved in the Cleveland community. Jessica serves on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Cleveland and Ansche Chesed Fairmount Temple, is a member of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Professional Women’s Task Force and is a recent graduate of Cleveland Leadership Center’s Cleveland Bridge Builders program.
