Troy Gobbett, MS PMP, is a Project Manager with the Harrington Discovery Institute. He provides project management leadership to Harrington scholars and works closely with the Therapeutics Development Center strategic advisors to accelerate discovery and development of funded programs. Troy brings over 20 years of project management experience in academic research and large pharma drug development programs. Troy also has a strong background in the business of science having helped to establish and grow a CRO that supported early discovery programs.
Prior to joining Harrington Discovery Institute, Troy held various leadership positions at organizations including Indiana University's School of Medicine, PreClinOmics, Eli Lilly and Elanco. Most recently he worked as an independent consultant helping organizations implement and/or improve their functional project management capabilities.
Troy received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Indianapolis and his Master of Science in Molecular and Developmental Biology from Ball State University. He is active in his community and has volunteered for various non-profit organizations that provide support for our homeless neighbors.
