As Program Manager for the Oxford-Harrington Rare Disease Centre, Mohammad plays a pivotal role in overseeing various facets of this critical initiative. He collaborates closely with both the Programs and Marketing teams, and is instrumental in strategizing and executing the annual funding calls that are crucial for identifying and supporting groundbreaking research. Mohammad also works hand-in-hand with the Development team on fundraising efforts. Furthermore, he drives business development for later-stage projects.
With over a decade of experience in tech transfer, Mohammad brings a wealth of expertise to the program, having held key roles at various universities and contributing to multiple innovation accelerators at McGill University and University of Toronto. His deep understanding of the commercialization pathway has enabled many researchers and startups to advance their groundbreaking work. Mohammad’s diverse background in biotechnology, complemented by an MBA, uniquely positions him to drive the program's mission forward.
