Siew Ho, PhD has extensive experience in nucleic acid (NA) research and drug discovery, encompassing antisense DNA, siRNA, miRNA, mRNA and ribozyme technologies. She has deep expertise in design, synthesis, purification, characterization of oligonucleotide (ON) molecules, in vitro screening and identification of potent molecules for in vivo studies, as well as for cellular and molecular experiments. She identified antisense and siRNA ONs in vitro and applied them in various animal models to investigate gene targets for drug discovery, establish various in vivo rat models for drug safety and metabolism studies, elucidate mechanisms of small molecule drug toxicity, etc.
Former Head of the Nucleic Acid Research Group, Bristol-Myers Squibb
