Physician-scientists anchor national and global disease initiatives for Harrington Discovery Institute. They receive financial and lab support for discovery research and are expected to participate in patient care. A Harrington Investigator position includes:
- State-of-the-art laboratory space
- Financial resources to support their laboratory-based research program
- Facilitated access to drug development infrastructure
- Drug development expertise and project management support
- A faculty appointment to the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University
- Staff position at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center
- Eligibility for a professorship at University of Oxford
Harrington Investigators can also access grant funding and mentors within the Harrington community to support their discovery efforts.
